Falcons
Since there are a few fellow Falcons on here, I thought I'd post an update on their football team.
The team is 12-0 so far and are now in the semifinals of the state playoffs. They play at 5:30 this Saturday at Hillsboro stadium.
The two games I've been to this year have been great games. La Salle's kicker, who is also the QB, kicked a 46 yard FG with 3 seconds left to win against Gladstone.
I'm going to head out to the game on Saturday. Anyone interested in a get together before the game (Stoney? R54? Rob's Jacket? 7587?)

Re: Falcons
Looks like I'll be in Eugene. I'm thinking a tailgate of epic proportions may be necessary should they make it to the championship! EPIC.

Re: Falcons
I was a Falcon too, you guys. Just at a Christian Brothers high school a bit further south. We must have sent you guys our old uniforms when you opened.

Re: Falcons
I kid you not, I too was a Falcon.
Back in the day (a long time ago ) at Skyline High School in Oakland, California I was a member of a club called the Falcons! I was also a member of Upsilon Omega Pi at UP.
Maybe that explains why when a student recently asked Fr. Bill Beauchamp what it would take for the University to allow Greek life once again, he quipped, “my resignation as president."

How ‘bout those Falcons! La Salle Prep beats Elmira 47-21 and now faces Siuslaw in the 4A final next Saturday (12/3) at Hillsboro Stadium :@: 2:15.

Re: Falcons
It was a great game today. Lots of offense in the first half with Elmira (also Falcons) up 1 at half. LaSalle took advantage of some turnovers and had a great goal line stand in the second half to open it up.
Stay tuned for the details of R54's EPIC tailgater.
DD - Where did you find the start time for championship game? The OSAA online bracket doesn't have the time.

Re: Falcons
FALCONS!!! At least one of my former schools one last night! Sounds like they made a nice comeback after trailing in the second quarter.

I think mattwizz meant to say that at least one of my former schools won last night.
