Re: this guy was a good player.
And BIG too! It is my recollection he departed when Michael Holton departed (or when Rev arrived?). Does he have any eligibility?shallwemaui10 wrote:http://basketball.realgm.com/player/Marcus_Lewis/Summary/8503

For you trivia freaks, what does this picture have to do with Marcus?

Here's one for you: What is Dionn's actual given first name?

Dion ( one N ) Semaj.
But there is another player in the picture who went to Poly who has a more immediate connection to Marcus.

Sharif Metoyer, current (I think) head coach at Long Beach Poly.
That right there is a picture full of my childhood heroes.

Correct! (#4, standing next to Dionn) and he was Marcus' coach at Poly, too.

Re: this guy was a good player.
Dionn Holton played for Rob Chavez, and graduated well before Michael Holton coached at UP. He was one of the best defensive players ever to wear a Pilot uniform. It is very unfortunate that he lost his way in life after he graduated. He really messed up big time.
