PSU and Micaela

Pilots topped PSU 3-nil on two goals from Frisbie and one from Cameli. One available sub, with Micaela sidelined in a leg brace. I know that A_Fan mentioned a collision in the wrap-up of the UW match, but I hadnt seen anything more recent...until this afternoon.

Midway through the second half Michaela appeared to bang knees with a UW player and went down while play went on. She eventually was helped off and spent the rest of the half with what appeared to be an ice pack on her knee. She seemed to be in good spirits at the end of the game which hopefully means it was just a bang and not serious.

Anyone have the word on her leg/knee?

MCL. She will be out the rest of Spring games.

Will she be back in time for Fall?

Well, mcl's aren't like acl's and usually don't require surgery, just rest for 6 -8 weeks in most cases, so she should be good to go for fall. U20 WC might be in jeopardy, though.
