Just a note.

The finals to probably the most prestigious tournament in the Western Hemisphere starts In a couple minutes. My Boca team plays Brasil's Corinthians.

Amazingly, the only feed in this country is FOX Deportes, which I am pretty sure most of you don't have.

There is a bit of hope though:

Good luck!

Oh yeah,

This may be the final match for Román Riquelme before he retires -- one of the most creative players in the history of Argentina Futbol.

I see he is in the starting lineup.

First leg final ends 1-1 in La Bombonera. Boca dominated chances and scored on a sequence Riquelme started at about 71'.

Less than 5 min later Emerson wakes up, starts a counter, and it is finished by Romarinho on his first touch of the game after just coming in.

Boy earned his keep.

FSC won't show live football--a continental club championship, no less--because they're too busy re-running EPL matches from this season. I had no interest in them when they originally aired, either. Very nice. Rolling Eyes

I guess football fans in America need to get a sense of adventure and move beyond the English game.
