Our annual mini-crash has been thwarted for another year. The domain name renewal request has been submitted. Geez's request to change the name to PlinyNation was declined.

And on the same day we have a new mobile version of PN....I think it's a huge improvement over the last version.....much more user friendly.

Based on your post, I gave it a try. I'm back to using the classic version on my phone.

DD - I remember hearing your quote from Ali, long before his time when it was attributed to Satchel Paige who was talking about fellow Negro League player Cool Papa Bell. I was curious about whether Paige made up the quote so did a little research. According to a site called "Quote Investigator":

I like the look of the new mobile version but there is one feature that I cannot figure out, how to jump to new posts. It tells me that there are new posts in a thread, when I select the thread I always start with post one. Has anyone figured this out that can help a "young" whipper snapper out?

Hey, I love trivia and the origin of sayings and quotes, thank you......but you must really be bored out there in the wilds of Montana to respond to a PilotNation post from 4 years ago.
