College Cup on Sale now
The link isn't on the NCAA site yet, but you can get tickets on the usdtoreros.com site.
The tickets are $40 with no parking (does USD have parking?) vs. the men's college cup which is $35 and includes parking. I just assumed women's would be cheaper since it seems to be in other sports.
Only general admission available, by section.

Re: College Cup on Sale now
If parking at USD is NOT included in the event price it can be a problem. I often attend basketball games at USD and find parking is NOT a problem after 6 o’clock if there is not a large crowd, but you are supposed to jump through a few hoops before being allowed to park.uclabobby wrote:

From USD:
Visitors to the campus are required to display a valid visitor permit for each day that they are parked on campus. Guest permits may be obtained at the kiosks at both entrances to campus or by coming into Parking Services, located in the University Center room 102. Guest permits are only valid in the West Structure and levels 3 – 5 of the Main Structure.
Please refrain from parking on the main campus in white or yellow-lined spaces or in reserved spaces until after 7:00pm. Residential zones are designated with signage and are reserved 24/7 for residents displaying a specific permit for each residential zone. Guests and visitors should utilize the Main and West parking areas for all daytime parking needs. Currently there are several areas outside of the Main and West structure that allow visitors to park with a current guest permit.
1 hour visitor parking in the Alcalá Vista residential area (near Sports Center and pool)
Pay and Display spaces behind the Hahn University Center; space needs to be paid for regardless of permit displayed
Visitor parking at the Alcalá West parking area by the West Parking Structure

Re: College Cup on Sale now
The info on the USD was changed so it is harder to find now (at least on my computer). If you can't find it, try this link: http://purchase.tickets.com/buy/TicketPurchase?organ_val=22342&pid=7326237

Re: College Cup on Sale now
USD thinks they pitch will be in good shape for the College Cup.
The field wore out in four years?

Re: College Cup on Sale now
You had to love it when USD women’s coach Ada Greenwood said, in an obvious reference to College Station, Texas, “What’s going to make this College Cup more special than other College Cups is the climate and lack of wind and sheer beauty of San Diego. The teams that make it will feel like they’re at a special venue in a great city, not a nice venue in the middle of nowhere.”

I emailed the athletic department at USD - they said that parking will be free for the women's event. Whatever that entails.

Re: College Cup on Sale now
If any of you are going to both the game tomorrow in San Diego, and the College Cup:
"The University of San Diego would like to thank you for purchasing tickets to the 2012 NCAA Women's College Cup!
To extend our gratitude, we would like to invite you to a USD women's soccer game vs Portland! This game is a West Coast Conference game and will be televised nationally on ESPNU on Friday, October 19 at 8:00pm.
To receive one (1) free ticket, please show proof of College Cup purchase at the ticket office."
