WNBA Anyone?

Did anyone catch the WNBA finals? The Indiana Fever are champions for the first time.

The league as a whole deserves more attention I believe. It's good quality basketball that is not locked out like other leagues tend to be. The players, coaches, and staff of the Fever kept thanking the fans the whole time during the trophy ceremony. I'm sure they are all role models for the local female athletes in much the same way that our women's soccer teams are.

Really? Seriously? I had no idea the women were still playing professional basketball....and just in time for the beginning of basketball season too.

I like a number professional sports (I'm watching baseball right now), but not professional basketball...men's or women's.

Yeah... I'm of the same opinion, as long as there is a whiff of the crookedness of David Stern involved, I have zero interest what so ever.
