Keep played one year - his senior season. While it was definitely a very good one, Pomare was a four year player at USD, all WCC 3 times, and ended up as USD's all time leading scorer.

Yes, really. Based on the above, why would it be a big surprise?

I will say that USD was the hardest of the nine schools to pick, simply because they haven't had a lot of players who really stand out over the years - at least compared to the other WCC schools.

I think it is kind of stupid to put someone in the hall of fame just for the sake of putting someone in the hall of fame...

And I guess Gyno is a better representative than Brandon Johnson. Or Jason "Had to Transfer from Oklahoma State because of a DUI" Keep.

I dont like the "obligatory" HOF inductions, either. Not every team needs to have a nominee every year, IMO... it just waters down the honor.
