Amen! That finish, up by 7 with 1:39 to go, give up a 3 and then another quick 3 after you can't get it inbounds following two time outs! Several of the steals that led to Bradley breakaway lay-ups were simply horrible inbounds passes by the Pilots. This problem has got to get fixed. It turned what should have been a comfortable win into a nail biter.DoubleDipper wrote:The game would have been a lot more fun to watch if I'd have known the Pilots were going to win. As it was, I was going nuts at times with the missed shots, turnovers, inability to inbound, and did I say turnovers and inability to rebound?
Thank goodness the Bradley player couldn't hit that 3pt shot at the end. That would have been crushing.

What, you couldn't find an empty seat in the arena? On TV, it looked like there were a couple available.blacksheep wrote:Just catching the score in the sports book, you having fun at the game pilotram?

For you folks not at the game... If there is ever a game on TV on a channel that you don't get, go to: firstrowsports.eu. It is how I watched the game. They stream every sporting event that you can think of. I will say that you have to get past several pop-up ads to get to the game itself (some of which are not for young-ins to see), but you get a live, uninterrupted TV feed from it.

Heh. I think half the people there were the sportsbook gamblers who deecided to stop in.up7587 wrote:What, you couldn't find an empty seat in the arena? Hmm, thanks for that....I often watch futbol there, but never thought to watch NCAA hoops.....but then just about every game we've played has been televised or streamed locally.An_Undergrad wrote:For you folks not at the game... Oh yea, you have to love some of the pop-up ads at FirstRowSports....but it is European after all.

Couple of coaches' comments via twitter:
Hmm. I guess I should quit suggesting that nothing is being done to improve inbounds plays. Anybody know the technical definition of ELOB?
@CoachMichaelWolf wrote:We exploited one of our team's greatest strength's tonight...depth. 10 guys all gave great min, 9 played 20+ vs a very good Bradley squad.
@CoachReveno wrote:Out rebounded them 42 to 31. Turned it over too much especially on ELOB's and pressbreakers but that is on me. Need to KEEP working on it.

End line out of bounds? Just a guess. Also, given that this has been a consistent issue for the past two seasons, I don't think it is off the mark to say that "nothing is being done to improve inbounds plays." Here's hoping that will change!

Thanks, that's it, since I saw a reference to ELOB and SLOB on my Google search for an answer.NoPoNeighbor wrote:End line out of bounds? Just a guess. KenPom rankings of the D-I teams UP (209) has defeated, in chronological order:
Idaho St.: 329
Portland St.: 251
CSU Bakersfield: 236
North Florida: 189
Bradley: 122
Each victory has been over a better opponent than the previous one. Let's hope that trend ends this Saturday; UT-Pan American is 326.
The losses:
Ohio: 58
Montana St.: 289
New Mexico: 38
Washington St.: 90
UNLV: 20
Kentucky: 13
Colorado St. 30
Thus far, Montana St. is the only really bad loss, and Bradley is the only really good win. Pepperdine is the only WCC team ranked lower than us.

Re: Pilots vs. Bradley Sunday @ 6:00 in Las Vegas on TV
I just watched the rewind of the Bradley game, and had the opportunity to analyze it instead of going nuts while watching it live. Did anyone notice…..for the last 8 minutes Rev had Derrick, David, and Oskars (and Riley and Ryan) all on the court at once…..and it worked.
Except for the ridiculous inbound “plays” those five were instrumental in limiting the turnovers while pulling out to a seven point lead with just a couple of minutes remaining. Sure, we all know what happened next, turnovers and Bradley 3’s, but it was great to see Derrick running the show and David and Oskars getting some good looks to shoot.
We may not see those three together when KB returns, but if Derrick can hold down the PG spot while Oskars and David pick up the slack that Tanner has been leaving, I think it will improve the Pilots chances of winning.
