:Hey everyone. If you've been following me on twitter, you probably know I was in a moderate car accident that had me in the emergency room for much of the day. Nothing's broken, and I'm back at home, though I'm also sore as hell and on painkillers for a week or so.

Obviously this pushes everything back as far as my writing is concerned, though at the very least, I'll try and get a full, bare bones Big Board for next Friday's draft up before it happens.

Thanks for everyone's concern, and enjoy the expansion draft on Friday."

So what does this mean? Are the Pilots losing their recruiting touch to their West Coast rivals or is this list not as meaningful as one is led to believe? It has been tough seeing players leaving early and the resulting small roster. A couple seemed to have some real potential if they were patient and worked hard.

Neither list has official merit...the big schools always get a benefit of the doubt scenario. My take on this is only that UCLA and FSU will be tough this year...North Carolina is an automatic entry in the listings...and NO I will not explain that...it is far too flammable to discuss. My pick for the cup is Stanford.

All White Kit has posted his pre-season short list for post season (such as the Herrmann Trophy) and the only Pilot on the list is Allison Wetherington.
