You know, of course, if the Pilots were to finish 6th in the WCC they would likely open against USF on Saturday in Las Vegas.....

After tomorrow's games:

USF’s remaining games are on the road against PU and LMU
SMC’s remaining games are at home against UP and GU.

USF has really come together with the emergence of Juco transfer PF Kruize Pinkins.....but I'm sure the Pilots would welcome one more chance against the Dons after that crazy loss at home in December.

The Pilots can beat any team in the conference. And lose to any team in the conference. I don't think it matters who the first opponent is in the conference tourney. I do think we will back into 6th place; USD will lose 2, UOP will lose at least 2, and we still have the GU tiebreaker,  SCU will lose at least 1, we have tie-breaker.

Agreed...we can beat anyone or lose to anyone. This season requires good beer. One of my new favorites is the Czech Primator Nachod beers... Any other recommendations for an up and down season?

With the scarcity of PTE I have been watching Pilot games with either Ninkasi's Total Domination or ft. George Brewery's Vortex, with their 1811 held in reserve.

SMC throttling Santa Clara 29-10 midway through the first half in Santa Clara. Go Gaels.

SMC finishes it out, 76-54. SCU cannot pass UP in the seeding.

Uhhhh. If Gonzaga wasn't on the bubble before, they sure are now. The one time I actually root for them and they blow it.

From a Pilots perspective, maybe not the worst thing in the world to remove the rather convenient option of going 0-4 in the last four and still finishing 6th and getting the bye.

Worst thing would be to fall to #7, and play LMU in the opening round after beating them twice in the regular season. Deja vu all over again.

Highlights:


Lots of BYU points in the paint/points off turnovers. Add Carlino's 30 on 8-13 from 3Pt, and it's hard to win.
