Friday's match at San Francisco is between two 6 wins overall teams with pride at stake. Every team in the WCC is tough, so Portland needs to keep their guard up.

Santa Clara is trying to make the playoffs and will be hard to stop, but the ladies gave Pepperdine a good fight, so it's possible to knock SC out of it and retain a solid history against them.

Both matches will be live streamed.

V after all.
From Pilot website:
• The Pilots begin their three-game road stretch to end the regular season with a pair of West Coast Conference match-ups in the Bay Area this weekend.
• First on Friday night, the Pilots will face the San Francisco Dons at 7 p.m. at Negoesco Stadium in a game that will be streamed live on TheW.tv.
• Sunday's game with long-time league rival Santa Clara begins at 2 p.m. at Buck Shaw Stadium and will be broadcast live nationally on ESPNU, which is channel 727 on Comcast in the Portland area.
• The Portland-Santa Clara match can also be seen using WatchESPN.
• The next win for Portland head coach Garrett Smith will be career win No. 200.

Didn't bother to read the Oregonian story. In fact, I did not know they still produced original content.

Pilots RPI is sitting at 100. If I recall, that is not too high for a chance at a Play off spot.

If they win out they could easily finish 3rd in WCC and dramatically raise their RPI.

The only thing keeping this team from the playoffs is executing 90 minutes of the kind of soccer they are capable of. And a few good breaks.
