The Pilot House Pub.... wait WHAT!?!?

So... anyone checked this out yet??

No way I'm looking under DD's skirt.

Nothing to do with the Pilot House, but the other big construction project on campus, the new dorm, will have a delayed opening.....sort of.

As many of us have said out loud when looking at the new dorm under construction, "There's no way that will be ready for students when classes begin on August 22nd."

The new dorm will now be opening in two phases...August 19 and "late October."

The Beacon wrote: The new dorm will be an L-shaped building consisting of two wings – Wing A along Portsmouth Ave. and Wing B along Willamette Blvd. Wing B, which will house residents on all three floors, is expected to open on August 19, in time for move-in. Wing A, which will house 92 residents on the second and third floors and feature a community space on the first floor, is expected to be move-in ready by late October.

Seems like a lot of work to do in 126 days.

Is the estimator the same guy who predicted the Pilot House opening?

Perhaps, but as you'll recall, the Pilot House opened exactly on schedule.....well, only 3 days late. October 29 instead of October 26.
