Reveno hired as assistant coach at Georgia Tech
Really glad to see Rev land on his feet at a big-time program: http://www.ajc.com/news/sports/college/georgia-tech-hires-eric-reveno-former-portland-coa/nrGf2/
He joins the staff of Josh Pastner, who came to Georgia Tech from Memphis. Good luck in the ACC!

Good for him. Plus, he won't be recruiting against Coach Porter much. Moving to Atlanta should be an interesting change for the Reveno family.

Congrats to Coach Rev! At the same time: gahhh! I can't believe he got a job in Georgia right as I leave for the Palmetto State. If they play at Clemson in the next season, then I suppose I might make the trip.
I really wish him all the best, I hope his team wins every game except for when they play UGA.

Great for him. Glad to see he landed on his feet.
I hope this is his first step to eventually being a head coach again.

This is great news for Rev... good to see him coaching again and I wish him the best.
Not only is this good for him, but I have to think that this is also good news for UP. I assume that Rev had at least 1 year left on his contract (I lost track), and by accepting a position at another NCAA school, I assume that UP no longer has to pay the remainder of the contract as I assume it would have non-compete language.

I wouldn't assume that at all. He didn't take another head coaching job.
