Missing players from 2015

In another post, Susie Que mentioned that Cecilia Pedersen is no longer on the roster, but also missing are Parkes Kendrick and Taylor Babcock. Personally, I consider Parkes to be a far greater loss to the team.

With the departing seniors and now with Pedersen and Kendrick gone, we lost 50% of last year's team scoring that tied the previous season for the fewest goals in Pilot history.

I'm confused. Are you saying it was, or wasn't a big loss?

Either way, what we need is some players on the incoming class who can find the net.

No matter how bad the team was, I believe losing half our scoring is a big loss. Do you feel the same, Geez?

The Pilots are coming off, arguably, the worst two consecutive seasons in the program's history. I don't know how realistic expecting incoming freshmen to turn this situation around is for 2016. The upcoming soft schedule will help more.

The beauty of the college game is that you reset every year. It is the nature of the college game that you often have to replace your stars. We lost about half our scoring in 1999 when Finnish player Sussana Heikari left and it worked out ok.

And as you say, it was one of our worst years, so there is plenty of room to try new players. It would have been nice if Pederson had played this year, but I can't think of one European we have had who stayed more than a year.

Let's just see how the players we have contribute.
