2016 election
We live in "interesting" times. It seems to have evolved into a race between the uninspiring and the insane.
Let's try to keep it reasonably civil, but I'm posting because I went to the GOP website and notice the presumptive candidate is nowhere to be mantioned.

Re: 2016 election
As curious was when I went to the Dnc site.
The first pic was Obama.
The first picture of a candidate in the running for the next election was this person.

Re: 2016 election
Geez, not to be that guy, but that's a fake account. Unless, Trump's new name is Denald.
Anyway, it will be interesting to watch how Brexit unfolds in the sport world with the pound slipping and the free movement of labor (labour?) possibly being restricted.

It is NOT fake!
That's the realDenalDTrump.
It says so.
Here's what he actually tweeted, which is pretty much the same but not as funny.
And it looks like he won't be playing golf after all.

Re: 2016 election
Near as I can tell, Scotland wants to stay in the EU, want to revisit an exit from the UK, and want Trump to exit Scotland.
Clearer now?
Oh, and Northern Ireland might join Eire except for Belfast and Antrim which will row their kit over Irish Sea.
That won't go smoothly.

Re: 2016 election
It turns out our Scots friends read Donald's tweets and answered en masse with Scottish/Shakespearean insults.
I clipped a few, but most are um... A bit too far beyond the pale. But here are some milder samples...
At least I don't think these involve acts of copulation. If I'm wrong, my bad.
It's actually easier to understand than when they speak.

If those were the mild ones, the others must really be something.

Re: 2016 election
Having lived in both England and Scotland for a combined eight years, I can verify that many of these "Tier 2" rants are very similar in content and meaning to what we'd often hear/see on the telly (not on the BBC) regarding other political figures well before the "tiny fingered, Cheeto-faced" man arrived on the scene.
Hopefully Americans won't have to resort to such personal attacks on either candidate in the months to come.
(But yes, I find them highly amusing....something the queen may not).

Have you been in a cave or something? The personal attacks started before Obama being Muslim.

Re: 2016 election
There are many sources that verify the President is Muslim.
Not that is matters, Nixon was Quaker.
Btw, Mrs geez and I were married in a Quaker ceremony.

Personal attacks in presidential elections date back to John Adams vs. Thomas Jefferson. Ho hum.

Haha.
Yeah John Quincy Adam's party accused Andrew Jacksons wife as being a whore because she was previously married.
Jackson accused Adams of offering his wife as a sex slave to Czar Alexander of Russia.
