This is a good one to kick off tracking games around the Country.
Pepperdine beat second ranked Leland Stanford Junior University 1-0 on that dinky field in Malibu.
You’d think the Waves would schedule a varsity team.

In a duo of stunners this weekend number 3 ranked Stanford got taken down by Oregon 2-1 on Friday followed by an identical 2-1 defeat to the Beavers last night. I’m not sure The trees have ever gone 0 for Oregon before.
The last time Stanford lost a PAC 12 game was in 2016. Their last loss before they went on to win the National championship in 2019 was to Pepperdine. Oddly, a 2-1 win over the Waves is their only win this year.
