Couldn't shoot worth a darn tonight. 17 of 34 from 2P, including a missed dunk. 5-23 from 3P. 9-17 from FT, including missing the front end of a 1&1. When you miss a lot, the other guys get a lot of rebounds, 38-21 advantage LMU. Forced 22 TOs, only made 9. Just have to make shots. Plus LMU was 65% on FTs coming in, and made 24 of 30, missing a few late.
LMU Fr. Leaupepe is a Pilot killer. His best game of the year is 17 points, and his average is about 8. Except against UP, where he scored 24 there and 25 tonight.

Shot quality was very poor. With no interior game and only one player who can penetrate, this team just doesn't get easy looks.

The game finally became competitive and fun to watch once TP channeled Mike Meek by going to a full-court press and closing to within 1 point late, but UP's inability to hit any shots doomed them a again.
Not surprised we said goodbye to Malcolm along with Lavar and Isaiah in a pregame ceremony last evening as his body language indicated he would not be back for his final year of eligibility, especially if his dad is still the coach.
