Canada Gold!

Congrats to Canada and to Christine Sinclair.

No more deserving player of a gold medal than she.

I couldn’t (perhaps obviously) agree more. She is the epitome of class and a role model for women’s soccer. And older than the coach!

At 38, and with all her accomplishments, Christine must be nearing retirement as an active player.

It brought back memories of seeing her at Civic Stadium in a friendly against the US in about 1999 as a teenager. I remember being impressed and wondering if there was any chance that she might choose UP.
