The situation in Oakland is a mess.

The A’s should have landed in San Jose a few years back, but much like GU blocking some schools from the WCC, the SF Giants blocked the A’s from moving  there, seeing San Jose as their turf.

Now in limbo with the lease running out on the crappiest (literally) stadium in MLB, they may have to head to their former Triple A city  (Sacramento is now home to the Giants farm team) until their Las Vegas stadium is built.
