Hey everyone... figured I'd get a game thread going.

So here's what I'm thinking... last time we played San Diego, we did an OK job of utilizing our size advantage, but I'd like to see us do more of that tonight. With Robin playing so well lately, I think he can really do some damage in the paint if Luke and Kramer can help occupy Pomare.

Johnson is a tough match-up for all of our guards, so I think the key with him is just to try our best to limit his open looks. Chances are he's going to get his 17 or 18 points no matter what we do, so if we can prevent him from getting 25 or whatever, that would be a good thing in my book.

One guy who really killed us was Rob Jones - his hustle and athleticism really hurt us... I think he had four or five steals and several offensive boards. Niedermeyer and Sherrard will have their hands full with him. It would be great if he didn't fill up the stat sheet tonight like he did up in Portland.

San Diego has won six in a row and sits at 7-1 overall, but I really do think that this is a game that we can be competitive in if we execute well on offense and can limit Pomare and Johnson. San Diego is good - clearly the "best of the rest" (i.e. non-GU or SMC) - but they aren't so dominant that we can't go down there and sneak away with one. I think UP will come out prepared and ready to compete after that tough Pepperdine loss.

Let's go Pilots!!!

Yeah, I think the key to the game will be Johnson. We gotta find a way to stop him.
