Everyone Needs to Do This!

OK, maybe I'm being overly sensitive, but UP just got screwed over by the Dan Patrick radio show.

I just caught a bit on my lunch break, and they made a brief mention about Portland State making the NCAAs. (Congrats Viks, by the way!) Then Dan piped in and said, "Portland State. Greg Anthony played his freshman year there, didn't he?" Then their fact checker guy says he'll look into it, and a minute later (presumably after a Google search), he says "Yes. Greg Anthony went to Portland State his freshman year before going to UNLV." Then they played a guessing game about how many points he averaged as a freshman, etc.

GRRRRR!!!!! If we all email his show, maybe we can get them to say a correction tomorrow and give UP its proper credit:

I read your blog. Nice job, but you are making our players look like a bunch of shiftless slugs.

You didn't mention that Kelsey is in England right now with the u23's, and you didn't mention we have 2 signees on the u18 team in La Manga.

You could also have mentioned Cloee on the u17's.

I suppose it's OK to leave out that Danielle is biding her time on the u20 pool.

That's why I need you around, Geezer. I have a hard time keeping track of all that... I'm a little guy. Not enough brain cells. I'll make an ammendment!

Yes. He does. Again. And they dropped Jim Rome altogether. He may not be everyone's cup of tea but Rome was the biggest reason I listened to the Fan.
