Vikings' opponent announced

Real quick before I head to the Hawks game:
PSU is #16 in the Midwest and will play Kansas Thursday in Omaha. I thought they might be placed a little higher, like a 15 or maybe 14, but the Big Sky was a little down this year. I can't recall any bad losses for them (Fullerton beat them in a Bracket Buster game, but they won the Big West this year) either.

Gonzaga is a 7 in the Midwest and plays Davidson, who hung with UNC to the very end this year. That could be a good one.

The other thing I noticed was #6 USC vs. #11 K-State. When I saw that my first thought was, "Wow, O.J. Mayo vs. Michael Beasley."

Look at it this way: the Vikings have a chance to make history!

A tough draw for PSU. I was hoping for a 14 or 15 seed for them...
