If you haven't already, follow the link above to a Garrett interview last Thursday. It's very informative about what Garrett has been thinking recently and what he is planning for the start of WCC play tomorrow, Sunday 10/12, against Gonzaga in Spokane.

Very interesting was one point he made very strongly - Korie Nicholson is going to start playing big time minutes. That tells me two things: 1) She's healthy and ready to play. 2) Michelle O. and Kassi may not be the starting center backs come playoff time. Deduction (guess?): Michelle O. is going to holding mid and Korie and Kassi are going to be the center backs.

That leaves Sophie up top. If you think about it, with this line-up, it seems more like a serious title contender with Sophie up top with her strength, and ability to center and pass the ball. (As well as score it!)

The most serious concern Garrett seems to have is finding a player for the left side if Kendra can't play. (Injured foot.) It almost sounds like Kendra might not make it back this season. (Medical Redshirt?) Garrett says he may deal with the left side position by committee.

Note: Steph and her Olympic Gold Medal will be celebrated at halftime of the October 19th match against Pepperdine. Gametime 12pm.

A nice podcast that gives some clues about the rest of the season.

Did Lauren win her race?

I give up. No one is posting on this forum. And I have no idea what Geezer is talking about.

At the end of the Podcast, Jason says he knows Garrett has to leave because Lauren is involved in a race with someone.

Maybe she had to Boogie. haha.
