Well this'll probably be my last post until I get back. I'll see some of you down there... the rest of you, well, you all will just have to suffer watching the online video stream at WCCsports.com, and then of course both games on ESPN!

Re: Off to Vegas!
Vegas is different universe.
8 Yr Old kids at slots with grandpa.
Black hose with dental floss shorts is a work uniform - looks really wierd next to a 6-6 player in warmups.
You can bet on wcc games!
There is a gozags banner in the pub where we will prefunk. Bring rotten fruit.
It may be possible to watch the first game from the pub- widescreens everwhere.
It's a looong way between the pub and the arena.

Re: Off to Vegas!
Thanks for scoping things out Geez! I will stop off and get some rotten fruit on my way to the airport. How long of a hike are we talking about between the pub and the arena? I was kind of thinking about going back and forth during the first game, but it sounds like that may not be a great option?

Re: Off to Vegas!
So Stoney can't post, but Geezer is still on-line keeping us informed? There's a reason why The Geez will be a first ballot unanimous selection for the PN HOF.

Yeah, Stonehouse is going to have to wait for the Veteran's Committee to let him in.

5 minutes of you do the military march, but realistcally 10 minutes. Figure a half in the pub watching the screen and a half at the game.
Wifi is avaiable. 12.99 of day in your room, but free at seattle Best (this morning) or in the arena. (now).
Other tidbits. The give you a coupon book that includes a place that offers ANY type of massage, (wink) and $5 off on firearms rental.

Re: Off to Vegas!
You might want to bring a little radio. It appears the Oeleans has it's own station covering pbp for the tourney.
They did a nice job with stats.
The new Gael is really wally pilot dressed up as a Villian at a soccer game.

Re: Off to Vegas!
Another thing that will affect pub plans is that there is no reentry during each 2 game session.

Is this a great country, or what?!

Re: Off to Vegas!
Based on the "crowd" shots from the opening Friday night game, must have been a lot of folks watching from the pub. Or else the Zag fans forgot to show up for a game they weren't playing in.

They're not used to seeing such opulence in Spokanistan.

Re: Off to Vegas!
In the spirit of " what stays in vegas" , I'll spare the details, but Stoney hasn't been here 8 hrs, and he's been photographed in a compromising possition. And sorry,Stoney,"he's my friend" is NOT good enough.

They could probably get a much better deal on firearms back home, though.

For the the dignified Zags fans, it's all part of one extended road trip...darting through the Idaho/Cordelaine area for the Wallmart special on firearms...which they can then compare with the Neo-Nazi/KKK specials...before heading to the greater thrills of the strip clubs and some cheap Pabst Blue Ribbons in Las Vegas...and some temptations of the flesh...before heading home to Spokane Vegas. Nothing but class, that's the GU way, right???

I know someone that went to UNLV (yes Stoney, he was their kicker) and if I recall correctly, PBR was not readily available on tap in Vegas, so they might be buying pounders.
