Haha but trust me, once you turn 21, you will be very glad you chose Portland instead of Spokane... WAY more variety in that department down in the PDX...

I suppose I'll have no choice but to do extensive research into your claim .

But Geezer, where would the adventure be in that?!
I'm happy to work with others on my research, if you'd care to (eventually) join.

Re: St Mary's vs Gonzaga
I will admit to have consumed beer-esque beverages in both places. While Portland wins hands down on quality and quantity, not all is lost in Spokane... O'Doherty's serves a delicious Guiness along with a pasty (the Butte, MT version!). Heroes & Legends is a good sports bar, too.
But, as you say, you should do your own research. "Getting there is half the fun..."

haha, P-nut. next time you go there, let me know. My little brother was the lead blocker for the owner's (quarterback) son at our alma mater. But I'm sure you probably know them, too. Great people.
I lived in Spokane until I went to school at Portland, and I have nothing against my hometown; I like it here because I think it's a happy medium between there and Seattle.
