How all 4 Oregon schools faired: Oregonian Article
Yet another reason to be proud of our athletic program... and a perfect 1,000 for the soccer team... how many 1,000 rated teams are perennial national powers?! Nicely done! Congrats to volleyball, as well.
It looks like the PSU men's hoops team will lose 2 schollies (next year?) and have its allowable practice time dropped by 4 hours/week. OUCH! They are in danger of being disqualified from post season play in 2009-2010, too... yikes.
Portland: The Pilots' 16 NCAA-sanctioned teams maintained impeccable APR figures during the latest reporting period, including perfect scores of 1,000 for both the women's soccer and women's volleyball teams.
Most of Portland's teams ranked with the top 70th to 100th percentile nationally, and although the men's basketball program saw its rate slip from 957 to 953, which was the lowest score among UP teams, it was still well above the 925 penalty cut-line.

I'm sure graduating a certain player who may or many not have used to go to another PDX area school, but had to leave because of an inability to hack it academically won't hurt the viking cause... Hypothetically speaking of course....

We have a rifle team? Awesome!
Edit: Er, I guess NA means no. How sad.

Hey, maybe the campus expansion will allow for the installation of shooting sports facilities!
