Here's one that's kind of scarey...
Every once in a while I check to see where people are viewing the site from.whence people are viewing the site. (damn grammer police)
Tonight we had this.
That's right folks, we have someone from inside the Kremlin viewing the site.
Do you suppose Vladimir Vladimirovich PUTIN is a closet Pilot fan?

Ha ha ha ha!!!!!!!!!!
Wow, who knew we little Pilot fans were such a threat to the Russkis!
(And note to Geezer, I could have gone all high-horse and gently pointed out the extra 'e' in the subject of this thread, but I ain't like that.)

Re: Here's one that's kind of scarey...
Maybe Putin got into some bad borscht and is having a flashback to his KGB days and thinks this is a site for U2 pilots or something. I think maybe I'll change my handle to Gary Powers just to mess with him.
And scarey? Really? Stupid English and all it's stupid different spellings. Sigh...

That is what clued me in to the Tongue in cheekiness... 1 mistake from geezer, possible, 2 that's intentional.

Stoney,
If you wanted to pick on something, you had your chance in the body of the first post.

Obviously not very well...
But let me tell you, I have managed to pick up some chicks at Powell's by showing them my name in the acknowledgements pages of a few select gardening books. Works like a charm.

Apparently "scarey" isn't in the gardening vocabulary.

It still doesn't look right to me, honestly. But who am I to argue with Dictionary.com?

You and your British spellings!
Of course that's all I've got... my eye is a lean, mean, poorly calibrated grammar machine.
