Re: Some other scores
I read somewhere that the Purdue/Texas A&M game had lots of fouls, a bunch "malicious," by both sides. The stats say 12/11, if I remember the numbers correctly, which doesn't seem that bad. I remember, though, from when we played Purdue at UW several years ago that they play a rough brand of soccer. Sounds like TAMU does, too.
Other scores of note to add to the Geez's:
Florida 3, Florida International 0
Georgia 2, Minnesota 0
Illinois 2, Colorado 1 -- If Illinois keeps winning until they get to Merlo, they will be quite highly ranked when we play them.
Iowa 2, Montana 0 -- Montana is in the soft part of our schedule. Lots of play for our bench.
Memphis 4, Arkansas Little Rock 0 -- This score means nothing, but it appears Memphis is a team to watch.
Miami FL 5, Ball State 1
Wisconsin-Milwaukee 6, Michigan 0
Nebraska 1, Lehigh 3 -- How far Nebraska has fallen since 2002!
Northern Arizona 2, Arizona U 2
Notre Dame 2, Loyola Chicago 0
Oklahoma State 4, SMU 0 -- SMU is another team in that soft part of our schedule. More bench playing time.
Pacific 5, Portland State 0
San Francisco 2, Marist 0
Tennessee 2, Arizona State 3 -- Arizona State came back from 2-0 down to win in overtime. Scored the tie-ing goal, to send the game into OT, with 13 seconds to play in regulation.
Texas 2, Houston 0
UC Riverside 1, Oregon State 2
Utah Valley 0, Seattle 2
Washington State 4, Syracuse 0 -- Washington State looks likely to me to rise in the rankings.

Illinois hosts UCLA at their tournament on Friday. Hope they can beat them!

Re: Some other scores
That was I who posted that the Purdue-Texas AM game had a lot of "malicious" fouls. I only watched the first half though and exaggerated a bit. However there were a few notable cleats up take downs by Purdue, while an AM player tried bulldoze the Purdue keeper. The girls seemed to genuinely dislike each other. It was rough and I was surprised that there was only one Yellow that I saw.

According to the box score, the first half yellow card on Purdue was the only one in the game.FSUfan wrote:That was I who posted that the Purdue-Texas AM game had a lot of "malicious" fouls. Also of interest is:
- Purdue: 3 shots on goal, 3 goals
- A&M: 10 shots on goal, 2 goals
