Ducks v. Trojans
Halloween Night, Autzen Stadium, College Game Day, two teams in the top 10 of the BCS. Does it get any better than that??
USC has shown that they are a good team, but they have also shown that they are beatable. I see Oregon winning by one score in a low scoring game!

Favorite Pac-10 Team: WSU
2nd Favorite: Whoever is playing UW
3rd Favorite: Whoever is playing USC
With the exception of UW and USC I have no disdain for any Pac-10 team. I don't have a favorite among the Oregon schools. I was glad that Oregon won this weekend and I hope they beat USC as well.

BTW, I'll be down November 14, playing for the tailgaters with the alumni band.

It was a lady in the alumi band who took the picture.

Re: Ducks v. Trojans
eh-hem, back to the topic at hand, the actual game.
Ted Miller (ESPN's pac10 blogger) picked the ducks by 3, 27-24. I like the ducks chances. The defense has been playing very well all year, and the offense has been rolling recently. Not to mention strong special teams play. USC's got a good defense and they've been able to win games. Watching them out here in The Bend, they didn't overwhelm me with their talent. I think they are a good football team, but not a dominant one.
My prediction: Ducks by 10.
You can't spell suck without U-S-C.

Re: Ducks v. Trojans
Remember, Ted Miller picked the Fuskies to win last week. How'd that one turn out?
I don't put a lot a weight in predictions. This game is a tough one to call. Last I checked, Vegas has USC by 3.
I'm still thinking the Ducks by one score, maybe only 3, but I don't have a ton of confidence in my prediction. USC has a lot of talent, but that talented QB is still just a freshman. The ducks have a great defense, but they are young too.

I will probably get Iowa vs. Illinois, or some Big 11 game. So let me know how it goes...

By the way, Mr. Wizz, I appreciate the photo sent from Chiles last night. It made my morning very happy. To show my gratitude, I think I'll get some Founders Centennial IPA and drink it.

I thought you might enjoy that. It can't be easy waking up every morning then realizing that you live in South Bend.

Just 15 minutes to go. I would never count out USC, but this would be a monumental comeback for them.

I cannot believe what just happened.
Can't rest now. They have to go on the road to the teams who are currently in 3d (Stanford) and 2d (Arizona). And you never can tell about the Civil War, even at Autzen.
