Impossible to replace a player like Michelle and all she brings to the field.

But thankfully we do have a deep team with a lot of talent, and I'm confident the coaches will cope with this the best way they can. I still believe this team has what it takes to take home a national championship!

Well, some do. Some don't. The Pilots have a number of former players that have not recovered after multiple surgeries. Let's all hope Michelle is one of the fortunate ones.

What you say is true of former Pilots, but the last few years (and I mean few) have seen major improvements in outcomes, using current techniques. It is contingent, however, on having someone who really knows what they're doing with knees do the work. Usually, those are docs who do nothing but knees and do lots of knees for athletes. There are no guarantees, but typically now players should be able to expect to get out there and play just as well as they could previously (once they get their muscle development and conditioning back to where it was).

Someone get Dr. James Andrews on the line! Michelle deserves the best!

Saw it on KGW news tonight - Michelle Enyeart is out for the rest of the season. Hopefully the injury doesn't end her future pro soccer career.
