Scarves

alright, so im a newb on this site and over here from talktimbers.com........for those who know me from there, i have some neat little ties with the pilots........if not, no worries, well get along fine.........to clarify, before i start, im not here to reclarify crap when people start talking out their backsides (which i can see has been done plenty already)..........i really dont plan on being distracted by whats being rumored and discussed here anyway........not trying to put it down, just bad for the psyche......

*pauses*

*holds up finger*

*clears throat*.......HOWEVER, i very much support the squad and the program, and this thread is to discuss the design for a set of portland pilots scarves.........yes, there were some old ones made by adidas, but obviously we cant do that now......however, members of the TA expressed interest, and with the title of "bluffside brigade" on one side and "purple pride" on the other, with a half/half purple/white split, the order for scarves was about to be made.........

to the point, id like that if any other opinions in the area wanted to be expressed, i felt this was a good medium for additional discussion........like the idea? like the scarf design? idea for changes? id like to make the order by the beginning of next week (this process has been delayed by opinion, but it needs to be heard).......


if you want one already, let me know, PM me or put it on the board, doesnt matter......

and in related news, thanks for the support, the manager and the team enjoy it very much

Certianly I would like to see such scarves . . .sounds like they would come in handy.

cant do that, nikes got it copyrighted......thats why i gotta use a different (but perhaps still stylish) font, as well as come up with another crest for the ends of the scarf.......which i will do, and am open to ideas for......

i feel if they were sold outside the gate pregame, at an agreed upon meeting place, there would be quite a few of these floating around and adding to the atmosphere at both sides matches

You could always use the old "Pilot Wheel" design. I don't think there's a trademark on that, in fact, I think that was the reason for getting rid of it.

I've seen the scarves... and I personally believe they are pretty cool. They would make a wonderful addition to any pilot soccer fans attire.

scarves are odered, they'll be in in two fridays, mayber earlier.......$10 so post here or PM me to reserve one, list is already started.........
