Hey, I'm only a 2 timer, not an (allegedly) 19+ timer...

And I'm glad I took SMC, but man, kind of upset I didn't take them over Nova in the 2nd round.....

Looks like you're now 7-0. Great start!

Wow! kudos to that 7 for 7... I'm glad I didn't take ND going really deep like digger wanted me to... After my last years performance where my bracket was the 23rd percentile, I'll take where I'm at right now... (haha but this is the reason why I never enter paying pools, I'm what you call "easy money")

Woohoo! Congrats to SMC on the nice win... they should be licking their chops looking at 'Nova...

What a great day of basketball so far. Too bad I am stuck at work watching a bunch of GameTrackers. Neutral

(Did I mention I am going to the games in Spokane Friday & Sunday, though?!) Smile

You did at every possible instance. Oh well, I'm planning on meeting people for breakfast and then heading to the bar at 9 and staying ALL day... (I have to compensate for my lack of WCC Tourney experience somehow...)

P.S. R54... Expect text messages.... MANY text messages.... And perhaps a few mocking, slightly coherent, yelling voice mails...

Ummm, really? I think your personal filter should have realized that was not the best of advice....

Man, this UNI 7 footer reminds me a lot of Jason Keep... I wonder if he uses the same one finger salute like our good friend Jason?

And with Butler's victory, we have no more perfect brackets. Pilotram and PPT pull into the lead, with NewUPFan tied in points but behind in total possible points.

Big East = Big Fraud!
#6 seed Notre Dame: loses
#2 seed Villanova: 3 point win in OT
#3 seed Georgetown: loses
#6 seed Marquette: loses

Losses to the MAC conference, the Colonial conference, and the nearly one bid Pac-10 conference.

Update: I did not realize Ohio had a losing conference record in the MAC, 7 - 9! scratch

Haha what a bizarre year when the team winning the Pac-10 tourney beating someone is kind of embarrassing for them...

And wow, that's almost as bad as OSU qualifying for a post season tourney with a 14-17 record... One would think there would be a rule against that... (although I guess technically the Beavs are PAYING to play in the tournament...)

I think everyone's bracket got busted! Nobody missed less than 4 games, with 7 of the 16 games going to the lower seed.

(Stupid Texas Mad )

What a crazy day. You could even call it madness. I'm just glad to be in the middle of the pack, both in current and potential points.

This morning is Pilot Opponent Day in the tournament. Minnesota is tied at the half, and West Virginia is up 11 at halftime.

Update: same results - Minnesota loss, WVU win.

I stayed with Butler, and did the same strategy again by staying with Temple when Cornell was the hot choice for talking heads. Oops. Then I bought into the Purdue can't win without that injured player hype - not true. My bracket is fading fast. Crying or Very sad

Flipping a coin might have been a better strategy for me. I'm right there with you in the bottom of the standings.

Gonzaga leads all the way, and hangs on at the end against a Fl. St. comeback attempt.

WCC is now 2 - 0 in the first round. cheers

Next up - SMC vs. Villanova in the early game Saturday, 10 am PDT. Go Gaels.

Stupid OK State. What is it with the Big-12, anyway? Texas and OK St. both lose to ACC teams due to terrible execution down the stretch. And my bracket falls into further disarray. Couch Potato
