A_fan,
No offense taken;
I dont under estimated Michelle's speed/quickness for a minute nor did I under estimated Christine's quickness or explosivness!! However I saw Taylor make a run on a ball played to the corner from near mid field with a PSU defender probably 10 yards ahead of her. I will agree Taylor isnt nearly as skilled as E, but I would love to know how the foot race turned out last year between the two of them because you know they had one!

Re: Pilots 1 PSU 0
Good job finding the clip, Indigo Kid.
While on the site, I refreshed and noticed a "Most Popular Videos" clip on Amanda Frisbie. I guess it's kind of a video resume, if you will. I had seen a video months ago like this on Michelle Cruz. (Which explains why I am so excited to see her become a dominant player on the Pilots roster, hopefully, in the not-too-distant future.)
This one's on Amanda, and is no less impressive. Both she and Michelle score what seem like about a thousand goals on their respective videos. (Goosebumps for me, anyway.)
Here'e Amanda's link. I don't recall where I saw Michelle's. (If this has been previously posted, please forgive me. I take medical leave from PN for various periods of time during the year.)
Enjoy:

Disclaimer: I realize these videos are one-sided and don't prove that the player will succeed at the college level.

Click the "host an image" button. This opens a window that lets you upload.purple passion wrote:I have a picture to post, but FAQ doesn't show how. Any help???
If it's a picture that's saved to your computer, click the "choose file" button. This will bring up your file directory. Find your picture in there and double click it. It's file name should now show up next to the "choose file" button.
Resizing it will allow the picture to fit on the screen when you post it. I usually do 640 px width.
Click the "Host It" button at the bottom.
After a second or two a window with some code will come up. Copy and paste the middle line, the one that says "Image," into your post.

PPT: Everything you suggested went just fine until "paste" which was grayscale and, therefore, not functional. Maybe I'll try another time.

Then put the link in the "image" button. It is right next to the "host an image" button. Click "ok".

Re: Pilots 1 PSU 0
I think it depends a bit on your browser.
I have to use the bottom link, then click copy AND click copy in the edit menu at the top of the screen. For some reason, if I don't do both, it won't copy.
Then I paste using the selection in the edit menu at the top of the screen (for some reason, keyboard pasting doesn't work) into the edit box that comes up when I click the Image button to the right of the Host an Image button.
It's an extra step, but it's the only way I can get a picture up with my browser.
or you can type [ img] and [ /img) around your image url (with no spaces).

It's lonely being a Pilot keeper.

Re: Pilots 1 PSU 0
Great picture that captures the game on Friday.
Apparently she had something to do on Sunday. From the descriptions there was not much she could have done about the goal which was a deflection.

Re: Pilots 1 PSU 0
Right on about the deflection, Harry. I haven't seen a video of it, but it sounds like it was a fluke, and therefore, no one's fault.
It appears as some fret about our offense, that our defense has been quite strong right down the line during the week-end's first two games of the new season. Sounds like Erin and the defense have only been seriously threatened during the last ten minutes or so of the CS-Northridge match.
It seems CSUN threw everything, including the kitchen sink, at us at the end of regulation in an attempt to tie the match. With some luck and some quick instincts by Erin, we survived without having to endure OT and a possible tie. (Ugh.)
