USF Loses Kellogg--Ouch.
A big blow to the Dons, if this is true...

As mentioned on other boards, USF already had a low APR... this wont help any if he doesnt finish up school somewhere else.
Correct me if I am wrong, but USF could be looking at the loss of scholarship(s) in the near future due to the low APR?!

Re: USF Loses Kellogg--Ouch.
Well.... I'm not really sure how it all works. There are all kinds of probations and provisionary violations and all of that, so they may not be in immediate danger. I think the sample sizes are still pretty small, so it may take a while before they can go into effect.
But the bottom line is that you want to be over the threshold in order to feel totally comfortable.
That being said, I wonder what will happen to UP's APR. We've now had four academic casualties this past year... Dominguez, Tiefenthaler, McTear and Jones.

We should be ok
I think the new APR calculation will consider if a transfer continues school and graduates elsewhere.
So, all the guys who have left over the past 2 years... I think they have all ended up at other schools. We should be okay. I think.

Hmmm.
Hmmm, looks like it wasnt academics after all, rather Kellogg wanting to play pro.
Weird timing on this one. It just seems odd.

Re: USF Loses Kellogg--Ouch.
I don't know about this whole "wanting to play pro" bit. Come on, something else was up here, whether it was academic or not, I do not know. I find it hard to believe a guy with a lot of talent like Kellogg would choose to go pro at this point in the game. I don't think he can even get drafted now, as you had to declare for the draft some time ago. Which means he will be playing in some other pro league.
