Love to see Canzano taking an interest in what's happening on The Bluff. Love him our hate him, he's easily the most influential voice in Portland sports with his column, radio show, and TV blurbs on Sports Sunday.

Woah, I don't know if you are going to get a better local endorsement than that... Although someone probably should have told him the GU game has been sold out for weeks.

Any chance we could get him to remind people in a couple weeks when SCU and USF roll in to town? Those are 2 games where a full house would be a very good thing...

or when it comes time to purchase season tickets for next year. How awesome would it be if we weren't overwhelmed by the infamous BYU chant next year. Plus look at what The PIT did to BYU last weekend and what the other WCC gyms could cause the cougs some trouble next year. I love college basketball

I really hope that people listen to a guy who once said that Lance Armstrong isn't a world class athlete and that professional soccer players aren't first class athletes. Sometimes he kind of shouts out ignorance. I guess we do that as bloggers too, but, no one is paying us...

I have to say I got annoyed with him in the video and the audio with how he kept saying we don't have great facilities or players.

He didn't say that. He said that, compared with the other college programs in the state, we don't have the best facilities (we don't since UO's massive upgrade) or the "best" players (i.e. highly touted recruits). I don't see anything wrong with that.
