That game against SCU might be our only win of this tourney...if we can pull it off and play our way into the tourney. I hope Rev finds a way to get the guys ready to be competitive again...

Good to see GU´s 10 year streak come to an end. Wouldn´t it be something if the WCC had more NCAA tourney teams than the Pac-10 this year? I think it may be 3 teams from each league though: WA, AZ, CAL, SMC, Gonzaga, and BYU.

How many NCAA tournament teams on the Pilots' schedule this year? At this point, I predict 7. These teams seem likely or possible for inclusion in the field:

Guaranteed:
Kentucky
Gonzaga
Saint Mary's

Likely:
Washington (tied for 1st in Pac-12, must avoid meltdown to wrap up at-large bid)
Nevada (1st in WAC)
BYU

Potential:
St. Louis (2nd in A-10, must win conference tourney)
Ohio (3rd in MAC, must win conference tourney)
Montana (tied for 1st in Big Sky, must win conference tourney)
UCSB (tied for 2nd in Big West, must win conference tourney)

I noticed that the BYU broadcasters, who were generally pretty complimentary of the Pilots, hinted that the Pilots might be in awe of playing in front of their large crowd. Attendence was recorded at 22,700, but I thought I saw a bunch of empty seats. They must not have read that the Pilots played at Kentucky this year.

That was one of a handful of times that I was yelling to correct them.
