I really liked the love Kristen showed for Jim Sollars in the article; more than just a coach, but a wonderfully caring guy on and off the court.
We often surmise that UP turns out well-rounded student/athletes/adults, sometimes at the cost of winning. In the big scheme of things a much better experience at UP for Kristen than experienced by her big sister, Courtney, at St. Mary’s.
I’ve known Kristen since she was a high school sophomore and still keep in touch; it’s all part of the family atmosphere that UP engenders.
