Season Ticket Pickup Event

The new season draws near, like the object in your side mirror that "may be closer than it appears"! Today we, the faithful who cheer the Pilots, get to pick up our season tickets and whatever "special season ticket holder gift" the athletic department has chosen for us. Last year it was a Pilot scarf. We get to eat some BBQ too. It looks like a great day to return to Merlo and meet the men's and women's teams. No word on whether there will be a scrimmage. Section B is getting ready to roar!

Cool Pilots camp chair and other swag for those who met at Merlo today. Men scrimmaged, women handed out tickets and chatted with fans. Garrett says the 3 Olympics medalists are expected to visit campus soon, perhaps all at once. Beautiful day, good fun. Is it Friday yet?

It was great to be able to chat with the players and coaches one on one. I hope this becomes a regular feature of the season ticket holder event.

I spoke with Micaela about playing for the U23 team this fall. She said she had to choose between playing with them and missing 6 UP games or playing the whole season at UP. She chose UP so will not be missing any games this season.

I feel that like would have to be a tough decision to make. I would have completely respected either choice, though.
