In somewhat of a surprising move:

The school press release cites family health issues. Baumgartner (nee Mack) is from Portland, attended Central Catholic, and after graduating from USC worked at the Univ. of Oregon athletic dept. for 22 years.

I do not know the circumstances, but women's head coach Bill Carr stepped down last Saturday after eight years, including a 25-win season in 2023-24.

Carr's departure comes just a month after Heather Owen took over as the SCU AD after playing in the WNBA and serving as an administrator at Stanford.

Long-time associate head coach Michael Floyd is now the interim head coach...
