Good luck this season, I think you guys will be improved from last year. Was impressed with Nicholas and van der Mars down low. They will be a nice combo for you guys.

That's certainly our hope. To me Nicholas may not take over a game but he makes an impact just by being there and playing his game. Van der Mars could do the same. The Real O-H-I-O wrote:Good luck this season, I think you guys will be improved from last year. Was impressed with Nicholas and van der Mars down low. So, PPT, did you watch the game? If so, what about that brass section from Ohion U?PurplePrideTrumpet wrote:That's certainly our hope. To me Nicholas may not take over a game but he makes an impact just by being there and playing his game. Van der Mars could do the same.
They must have been over 100 strong!!
Just think how great a brass section that huge could light up the Chiles Center!

Rev tweeted this earlier today:
Looks like recovery will be a long process.Know the movie where the kid says "I see dead people" Well, I see turnovers. See them everywhere. All summer long. Recovery starts today.

No, but there's good bands all over the mid-majors. VCU at the Rose Garden last year was a great example.

Our friends at Ohio U. watched their football team (9-4) win the Independence Bowl over Louisiana-Monroe (8-5) this evening, 45-14 in Shreveport. The Real O-H-I-O wrote:We have a big football game tomorrow, our last home game of the season, but we are very excited for basketball after last season.
Hey, the #1 party school in America has a good athletic program too.....sigh.

Umm, DD....
Ohio State made this years Playboy list of Top 10 Party schools, not Ohio.
And UVA was number one.

Dude!
You’re (sort of) correct, as of this past summer Ohio University no longer holds its title as the nation’s No. 1 party school.
The Princeton Review released its annual college rankings lists in August, and Ohio U. now ranks third on the list of top party schools.
West Virginia University rose to the top spot, followed by the University of Iowa. Last year, Ohio U. took the top spot, and was ranked as the nation’s second top party school in 2010.
This year Ohio U also ranked second on the “Lots of Beer” list, and fifth on the “Lots of Liquor” list.
Umm, that’s really good enough for me if they win a bowl game too.
I don’t see Ohio State anywhere on the Princeton list…..but they could be facing a post-game ban of some sort!

Wait..
I give you the Playboy list and you counter with Princeton as the authority?
Trust me. I've partied at Princeton. I got the right source.

OK, you've got me there....I've "read" a number of Playboy magazines, but never the Princeton Review.PurpleGeezer wrote:Wait..

I understand this is a typical Princeton Tiger at play:
