Mrs. Oregon 2013 - UP Graduate

Mrs. Oregon Tara Arnold hosted her first public event at the University of Portland this past weekend. Arnold, a University of Portland nursing alum, is focusing her 2013 reign on teaching healthy eating and exercise habits to children.

Arnold, 26, is now a pediatric nurse at Providence St. Vincent Hospital. She won the Mrs. Oregon 2013 title in November in part because of her passion for combating childhood obesity and educating families about healthy living. She plans to travel around Oregon this year, hosting other Movin’ It With Mrs. Oregon events.
