From Pooh yesterday.....

I haven't heard MVP chants 4 me since my high school days. Hearing them now in my professional career is great but I must keep grinding!!

It was just 10 years ago today (Feb 19,2003), during Pooh's freshman year

Portland had a substantial upset victory against Gonzaga, winning by 4 on the road. Vegas had the line at 22.0 in favor of Gonzaga, but that didn't stop the Pilots. Pooh Jeter led the way with 18 points, 4 rebounds, 3 three-pointers, and 2 steals.

I had the distinct pleasure of flying the team to Spokane the day before that game and then returned the next night to watch them win.....memories.

For a one time disadvantaged kid from Gardena, California, Pooh has certainly done well seeing the world, making very good money, and playing basketball.

After another very good year playing professionally with China Shandong, averaging 25.7 points, 4.4 rebounds and 4.1 assists in 38 contests, Pooh has now signed with French champions Limoges.

I don't know the particulars, as Limoges already has/had an excellent PG, but Pooh is there, excited, and ready to go to work.
