Re: The Weather
Every year we put off having a/c installed in our house because Congress can't agree if it's actually global warming or this weather trend is just an anomaly....
Well, now even our pets agree it's too hot and it’s time to do something about it.

I love how us Portlander's complain about the rain all winter, then complain when the sun comes out.
I don't complain about the rain because I much prefer it to the heat! My current sunburn has gone from hurting to itching

Re: The Weather
I moved here because I was tired of DC area summers where August was 105° and the humidity was 100%. Nights got to a balmy 88° with 100%.
my brother lives in Williamsburg VA where that is good golf weather.
This is just a little reminder why I don't want to move back. Prince Rupert is sounding nice about now, though.

No need to go that far. The Oregon coast was beautiful all weekend. Some of the best weather I have ever seen there.PurpleGeezer wrote:Prince Rupert is sounding nice about now, though.

56° and misting today in Prince Rupert. Perfect Portland weather.
They expect the Scarey yellow thing will peek out Sunday or Monday.

Never been to PRBC, but I do have family in Vancouver, BC. I wonder how bad off they are in this heatwave.

Now I've progressed to peeling. I sure wish there was a product you could apply to your skin in the morning that would prevent such nasty burns

@geoffreyCarnold: Jamaican-born Donovan Ricketts isn't affected by Portland's "heat" wave: "This is like home. You should enjoy it." #rctid #itscalledsummer
Yeah, quit whining. If you get too hot just walk down to the beach and jump into the Carribean.
