Frisbie's POW was well-deserved for the best player in the league (the West Coast too). After watching her goal against the Huskies in the highlights and seeing the two in person on Friday, she again demonstrates why she is the best. None of those goals was a given and all came from some distance (Pilots' write-up says Friday's was 15 yards out but three yards outside the box is at least 20 from straight on). Let's hope the others took note of how effective an outside shot can be as you don't have so many players clogging the box as when you try to force everything inside. Clearly this year's MVP already for her all-around play at both ends of the pitch. Too bad they don't have an MVP award for student support as these kids are awesome this year and the team deserves it.
