There will be a little extra drama Monday night when UP faces the University of Montana Lady Griz before a packed house in Missoula…..Coach Robin Selvig goes for his 800th win in 35 years of coaching at UM, and the team and fans want to get it done NOW because their next game is in Denver.
Legendary Tennessee coach Pat Summit, who coached the Lady Vols from 1974 to 2012, is the all-time leader in women's basketball coaching wins with 1,098. Selvig is 9th on the all-time list.
It's hard to say which team is favored in this game, but barring a letdown after their convincing win over UW, the Pilots should prevail......even if they don't hit 15 three's like they did in their last game.
