Blazers: Playoffs
LaMarcus Aldridge just crushed the Rockets *again* in game 2, as the Blazers take 2 in Houston.
After 46 points in game 1, Aldridge scored 43 tonight!
I will completely admit to being a bandwagon fan; tonight was the first time I have watched a Blazers game on TV since the Drexler era.
Game 3 on Friday night. The Moda Center might be a little nuts...

Re: Blazers: Playoffs
Home court isn't counting for much. Only Miami has been able to hold it after 2 games. Both #5 seeds swept the opening road games.

I don't know how many of these overtime games I can take. 3 overtimes in 4 games.
I love watching all the great matchups with these two team. Wesley Matthews has been playing some unbelievable defense on Harden.
Bring on the Mavericks!

Won't know for sure for another hour, but I've heard the Blazers will honor Dr. Jack Ramsay with a very appropriate patch on their jerseys:

Heck of a finish tonight. What drama.
We'll never know, but if Lillard missed, I think Houston wins game 7.

It's gotta be good for Portland that they'll get a little extra rest and be able to watch game 7 between the Spurs and Mavs before heading back to work. That was a very physical series!!
As an aside, I watched the game on ESPN and thought Hubie Brown and Mike Tirico did a very good job of announcing in a balanced, fair, and unbiased manner. However, when I watched some of the KGW recording, Mike Rice was a waste of time with all his complaining and whining about the referees and calls he felt went against the HIS Blazers. I now remember why I always watch the KGW games with the sound off. BTW, I reviewed the 4th quarter calls that he continually moaned about, and found, in slow motion, the refs made the correct calls.

Nothing new here. I like how Rice's first comment was, "You can't take that away from us!"
When fans see this and behave like that as fans and coaches at high school and youth games, is it any wonder officials are hard to find?
