Judge nixes ncaa concussion deal

Looks like it is back to the drawing board to find a way that protects players.

Well, I'm obviously no lawyer, but the reasons the judge gave for sending the concerned parties back to the drawing board make a lot of sense to me.

The entire plan just seemed too unwieldy....too many inclusions, but also too many left out from other sports.  

I think most are concerned the US has become a too litigious society, but I do believe something must be done to recognize and minimize brain injury, even if the plaintiffs of past incidents do not receive the big payouts some are hoping for.
