No, nothing to do with the Mooch or Bohemian Rhapsodies on Twitter.

In Argentina, a third division team was caught enbiggering the goal area two meters in each direction. The National police are investigating

"Embiggering."

Had a good laugh at that one.

Hacer trampa? Si la area restrita es más grande que normal, hay más oportunidad para ganar un tiro penal.

My best guess. It is a little strange and interesting though.

Interesting. I have often wondered who, and if, dimensions of a field/court/pool, backboard/goal/net height/rim/key, etc. are verified. In the bit of tournament organizing I did historically, I would check the height of the volleyball nets before play began (because there are various heights for various ages, competitions, etc), and the competition volleyballs air pressures would occasionally be verified (but more to make sure they weren't leaking), but the dimensions of the court were never checked, nor did the sanctioning entity require ANY verifications.

For example, when the floor of Chiles Center is repainted every few years, is there some sort of certification process required to make sure it is correct before games can be played on it? Do the basketball refs check rim height before all games (since that is adjustable)? Soccer refs usually check the nets to make sure they are attached all the way around right before first kick, but do they ever actually measure the goals for the correct dimensions?

Doesn't every visiting team double check?
