Re: US Bank Portland Invitational
Is there equal excitement with the signing of Deng Dut from Simonds in Melbourne, or is there more of a personal attachment to Zach?Aussie Baller wrote:time will tell, heaps of Australians watching and cheering for Zach and the Pilots

Very excited for Deng, i havn't had anything to do with him, as he's older, but have seem him play at nationals, elite passer, and can shoot. i can see why they went after him, super talent

Re: US Bank Portland Invitational
What about UC Riverside beating Washington, HUGE, the Aussies having a massive influence, big Jock Perry 21 pts, Freshman Will Tattersell, 24 minutes, 6 points 2 from 9, amazing when the coaches have a bit of faith, and Will is not in Zachs class, that was a great win. Basketballers not athletes

Honestly at this point I might have a better chance of guessing Seattle's starting five than Portland's!
Guess this explains the "personal issues"

Ali said he’s fine with being one of the voices on this team, especially after returning senior forward Tahirou Diabate — the team’s most experienced player — opted out last month, shortly after becoming a father.
“He didn’t want to put his kid in danger,” Ali said. “It was very reasonable. We all supported his decision.”
